Interactive Webinars and Site Visit Offer Chance to See RESYNTEX in Action

As RESYNTEX enters its final phase, there are still many opportunities to learn more about the project’s outcomes and possible next steps. A guided visit to the demonstration plant in Maribor, Slovenia, will take place in May as well as interactive online webinars. Registrations are open for both activities and places are limited.

The project’s pilot installation brings the ambition of industrial symbiosis to life, demonstrating an integrated value chain from residual waste textiles to secondary chemicals. Post-consumer textile materials such as cotton, polyamide, polyester and wool are recycled through chemical and biochemical technologies.

The tour on 23 May is an informal opportunity to see this facility in person and meet the team that has developed the plant design and process. In addition to the plant visit, participants are welcome to join a dedicated session on further testing and scaling the technology.

Please register for the site visit before 10 May 2019.

Three interactive webinars will follow on 27 and 28 May wherein key insights of the project will be shared and discussed. These online discussions will focus on the project’s achievements with respect to the market analysis and business cases of the new technology as well as recommendations for textile collection and sorting.

Please register for the webinars before 15 May 2019.
